I went on my very first tag-along session with my friend Mary – I followed her around like a little lamb, taking photos of behind the scenes stuff, snapping a few rounds off of the beautiful Mike and Shanelle and nibbling on grass when I found some down time.
We went down to the beautifully overpriced seaside villa of Redondo Beach. Once we got outside the confines of treachourous Van Nuys, I realized I sort of missed the gun shot noises.
This couple had just gotten engaged and boy oh boy, you sure could TELL. They got along like you wouldn’t believe! They got along like they’d never even been married!!! The lady mammal had the best boots EVER and is shortly going to be proudly marching them down the aisle.
I love this shot and about started doing a happy dance when I saw it in my viewfinder. I didn’t. But only because I was precariously perched on a boulder …….and because my happy dance consists of taking off my top and shaking my money-makers. Which is never appropriate.
The next series required a little B & E. That’s breaking and entering for you pious folk – Amish and the like. Totally worth it, though.
Ok, fine. There was no B & E……..but there was some major sweet talking involved. No price is too high.
In the following shot Shanelle is staring precariously at the approaching ducks – duh-nun…… duh-nun……duh-nun-duh-nun-duh-nun. I wasn’t afraid because, to my knowledge, ducks have no teeth.
Regardless, I don’t think she had anything to worry about – Mike was ready to protect her at a moment’s notice!
