Time sure does fly.
I’ve known this lady since waaaaaay back in the day…….back when I was 20 and she mostly saw me as a punk kid…..mostly because I was a punk kid. We were both working with another photographer and my dreams of someday being a photographer of my own were just a glimmer in some magical unicorn’s eye. It’s crazy how fast time can fly! Now we’re much
older more mature and have businesses and families of our own. If you’re ever looking for a casting director, this chick is a must!
I love that these sisters decided to do a giant family shoot. I like to imagine that someday my kids are all close enough to do something like this when they’re grown too. A girl can dream!
It’s been a while but for you loyal readers you might recognize these guys from back when I did their newborn shoot.
Nerd Talk: all images were shot with open shade available light on a Nikon D700 using a 28-70 lens. Aperture ranged from 2.8 to 5.6.
Shoot lesson learned: drink an extra cup of coffee for a 9am shoot with teens and toddlers.
One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to see the way people love each other. It’s different and special and unique in every single family I meet. These two were no exception – and they clearly know how to have fun together. And, in my humble opinion, that’s the best kind.
Shoot lesson learned: invest in dog toys and treats.
