Maternity – pictures of mom-to-be, the dynamic duo and, of course, the belly. Best time to shoot really depends on how much you are showing and when you feel most comfortable with your baby bump. This can be different for everyone, but we typically encourage you to schedule your shoot at about the sixth month mark.
Birth – all the details surrounding the big day that you might miss while you’re otherwise occupied. We take a very fly on the wall approach to get the best candid shots possible without being noticed. All images will be delivered in black and white.
Newborn – photographed at our indoor studio and should take place within the first two weeks – the sooner the better. At this age they are still very sleepy and easy to move around into those cute curled up positions. After the two week mark babies become much more alert, active and lose that very brief “newness” that make newborn photos so beautiful. Babies should be well fed prior to the shooting time so they’re nice and sleepy.
Babies – best times to shoot are around six months (once they can sit up on their own) and then at one year. These are great shoots to incorporate some of their favorite toys, chairs, tricycles, etc. and also a great time for a “Rubber Duck” or “Cake Smash” sessions.
Children – up to 5 children and must be in the same immediate family.
Couples or Family – up to 7 people and must be in the same immediate family. Contact us for additional information on extended family shoots.
Engagement – taken before the wedding date, ask about our great save-the-dates.
Mini Sessions – A few times a year we offer 30 minute mini-shoots with 10-15 images. These types of shoots are generally offered around Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving.
Something Else – want something other that what we’ve already described? Hit us up, we love new adventures!
